Affordable Housing
Northern Virginia has one of the most expensive housing markets in the United States and it’s often difficult for working families to find housing within their budget. For over 40 years, Reston Interfaith and the Reston Interfaith Housing Corporation have been helping families and individuals by providing a variety of affordable housing options in our area.
Townhouses
The Reston Interfaith Housing Corporation (RIHC) owns 50 townhouses throughout Reston, Herndon, and Centreville. Our townhomes are rented at affordable rates to residents who earn half or less than the area’s median income. Our transitional townhouse tenants receive support service, goal setting and counseling provided by Reston Interfaith case managers. In the coming years, RIHC hopes to increase the number of townhomes to serve even more clients.
The wait list for RIHC Townhouses is currently closed. For additional affordable housing help contact the Fairfax County Human Services Coordinated Services Planning at 703-222-0880 or connect with 211 Virginia to access more resources.
Apartments
RIHC partners with The Bozzuto Group to support 48 apartments in Reston’s North Point neighborhood that are rented to working families for well under market rates. For more information on these apartments, please visit the Bozzuto’s North Point Apartments website.
